Job Description

Processor, QC – Mortgage Risk Advisory

• Perform required post-closing reverifications including, but not limited to: Employment (VOE), Income, Assets (VOA), Rent/mortgage history (VOR/VOM) • Execute all QC reverification activities in compliance with agency standards and guidelines • Review loan files and supporting documentation to identify required reverification components • Initiate and follow up on third-party verification requests (employers, financial institutions, landlords, etc.) • Ensure all reverifications are independently obtained, properly documented, and completed within required timelines • Validate accuracy of borrower information compared to original loan file data • Recalculate borrowers’ income to ensure accuracy • Identify discrepancies, red flags, or potential fraud indicators and escalate appropriately • Maintain detailed documentation of all verification attempts and results in QC systems (e.g., ACES or equivalent) • Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks • Adhere to company policies, client-specific requirements, and regulatory standards

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of mortgage industry experience, preferably in Quality Control, processing, underwriting, or post-closing
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documentation
  • Income calculation and employment types
  • Asset documentation and sourcing
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae and all other agency guidelines for post-closing QC requirements
  • Experience with QC platforms such as ACES (preferred)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
