Position Summary: The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for oversight of Accounting and Internal Control activities ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Senior Accounting Manager is expected to be hands-on and transformative. They will ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely financial statements while creating a best-in-class accounting function that drives visibility, control, and efficiency. They will develop and implement an internal control framework to minimize financial risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities: Core Accounting Duties - Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely financial statement reporting. Prepare reports that present key insights, trends, and variances to company leadership. - Lead the research and interpretation of complex accounting topics and transactions in accordance with GAAP. Provide technical guidance on various accounting matters including revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, business combinations, and other relevant topics that arise. - Interface with the external auditors to ensure close collaboration on technical accounting guidance and adequacy of internal controls. - Support leadership by undertaking assignments on ad hoc reporting, projects, or other special initiatives.
