Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with professional genealogical research
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in History, English, or comparable experience
- Experience in general U.S. research, specializing in mid-south and southern states
- Proficient in DNA test results application to genealogical research problems
- Advanced expertise in brick wall research methodologies and evidence analysis
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Experience with completing research journals/logs, citations, record abstracts, academic research reports, and research plans
- Experience communicating with clients, setting expectations, and resolving issues
- Experience in a collaborative team environment and providing feedback and coaching
