Sales Development Representative

• Drive outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities within target accounts and industries • Research and identify ideal customer profiles, then execute multi-touch campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels • Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives • Collaborate with AEs to build account-based strategies and penetrate key target organizations • Articulate ActivTrak's value proposition in a way that resonates with each prospect's unique challenges and goals • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene in Salesforce, tracking all prospect interactions and pipeline metrics • Participate in sales training, team meetings, and shadowing opportunities to accelerate your development toward a closing role • Leverage ActivTrak's own platform to optimize your productivity and better understand the challenges our customers face

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, SDR/BDR role, or customer-facing environment
  • Proven ability to thrive in a metrics-driven, high-activity outbound sales environment
  • Competitive drive and resilience—you're energized by the challenge of connecting with new prospects daily
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility over the phone and in writing
  • Experience collaborating effectively within remote or distributed teams
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort with sales technology stack (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, G-Suite, Zoom)
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and contribute ideas for process improvement

Role Description The Sales Development Representative I will report to the Manager, Sales Development, and plays a critical role in helping the organization meet pipeline coverage, revenue, and key account penetration goals by out-selling competitors in a complex and established enterprise software marketplace.
