Client Adoption Advisor

Role Description Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Client Adoption Advisor serves as a strategic lead responsible for driving innovation adoption and client referenceability through oversight of pre- and post-commercial launch activities. This role provides end-to-end coordination across cross-functional teams - including Product, Development, Design, Implementation, Training, Go-to-Market, and Client stakeholders—to ensure alignment, operational readiness, and successful delivery of launch objectives. The Client Adoption Advisor also manages relationships with customers participating in pre-commercial initiatives, helps guide them through the adoption journey, and supports a positive client experience that contributes to long-term adoption and referenceability. Qualifications - Minimum 10 years of experience in project management or services. - Minimum 5 years of experience with healthcare organizations and imaging IT. - Experience managing pre-commercial, including: - beta/pilot clients, - early adopters, - client innovation partnerships. - Demonstrated success driving enterprise-level product adoption and change management initiatives across complex client environments. - Working knowledge of healthcare IT systems, clinical workflows, and interoperability concepts (e.g., HL7, FHIR preferred). - Ability to identify trends and convert insights into actionable adoption strategies and product feedback. - Experience building scalable adoption frameworks, playbooks, or enablement programs. - Skilled in facilitating cross-functional workshops and client-facing strategy sessions. - Demonstrated ability to lead through influence without direct authority across matrixed organizations and align diverse client priorities. - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Organizational Development or related discipline or equivalent work experience. - Travel (average 50%) will be required. Requirements - Advanced consultative skills to build client relationships to foster a sense of confidence as a trusted advisor while managing change. - Strong written and oral communication with the ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and professional manner. - Advanced judgment, problem resolution, organizational, cross-collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making skills. - Familiarity with quality management systems and working in (FDA) regulated environments. Responsibilities - Client Engagement - Organizes and leads client engagement to map use cases and accelerate product adoption. - Orchestrates impactful customer-facing sessions including planning office hours, demonstrations, and education. - Fields management of strategic accounts during adoption and through to referenceability. - Strategy and Optimization - Proactively identify, mitigate and escalate barriers to adoption, including user resistance and operational inefficiencies. - Assist in defining KPIs for user engagement, stakeholder satisfaction, and adoption success. - Propose and execute recommendations for sustainable stakeholder engagement. - Implementations & Software Launches - Partners with Cross Functional Leaders during launch, integration, and deployment to drive adoption and build repeatable processes. - Collaborates with implementation teams to launch releases to strategic clients. - Coordinates and oversees the completion of all aspects of pre-commercial projects; Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules. - Ensures new product releases include adoption-ready materials for immediate use by Merge and clients. - Develops project/program proposals and effectively communicates requirements to gain management support and buy-in. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create scalable adoption resources (playbooks, webinars, and micro-learnings), customer participation and thought leadership. - Provide strategic feedback to cross-functional teams based on adoption patterns, user experience and implementation blockers. - Mentors and inspires team members cross-functionally to accomplish group goals. - Post Implementation - Lead strategic clients from adoption through to referenceability. - Manage reference client community. - Assists as needed in product lifecycle management. - Assist in client participation in events like Merge Live, Advisory Boards and Trade Shows. Success Measures Success in this role is defined by the ability to drive measurable product adoption, deliver seamless and scalable launch execution, and cultivate satisfied, referenceable clients through strong cross-functional leadership and strategic client engagement. Compensation The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations.
