Executive Assistant – President and Chief Operating Officer

• Serve as the primary partner to the President and COO, anticipating needs, managing priorities, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations • Drive follow-through on decisions, action items, and projects to ensure clarity, accountability, and timely execution • Can act as an extension of the President and COO in meetings and communications for coordination across teams • Create high-quality presentations, reports, executive team and board-level materials that clearly communicate complex information • Draft executive communications, talking points, and internal updates as needed • Manage complex, dynamic calendars and prioritize scheduling needs for the President and COO • Coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations, and detailed briefings to ensure smooth logistics • Plan and execute internal and external meetings, events, and engagements • Oversee traditional executive administrative activities, including expense reports, document management, and contract routing • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external partners on behalf of the CPO • Continuously refine and improve administrative and operational processes

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skill based experience
  • 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives
  • Exceptional organization, project management, and prioritization skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work both strategically and tactically; comfortable switching between big-picture thinking and detailed execution
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement

Role Description Our established California roofing company is seeking a licensed Roofing Contractor ("C-39") to serve as our Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) — the legal and operational qualifier on our corporate license. Roofing is our core trade, so the right C-39 qualifier is a long-term partner. This is a genuine supervisory role: you'll exercise direct supervision and control over our roofing operations as required by California law, in exchange for a monthly fee.
