• driving year‑on‑year revenue and margin growth across the Public Sector • identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities that will enable our growth ambitions as a business • developing compelling win strategies that align to customer needs and our CPS propositions • building relationships with key customer stakeholders across public sector organisations • embedding our technology enabled solutions at the heart of our new business opportunities by working collaboratively with market development, Win Centre and technology teams across Capita • using data, insight and sales tools to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately and inform strategic planning • collaborating across CPS teams to ensure seamless transition of new business into delivery and account management

Job Requirements

  • Essential: experience working with in the Public Services Sector with an experience in and passion for selling Contact Centre, Tech Sales, BPO, and Case Management propositions.
  • good experience managing a business development or sales pipeline, with a track record of achieving targets
  • confident engaging with senior stakeholders and building trusted client relationships
  • commercially astute, able to qualify opportunities and shape tailored solutions
  • skilled at using insight, research and market intelligence to drive sales decisions
  • strong understanding of business development best practice - account planning, pipeline discipline, reporting and risk management
  • Desirable: salesforce experience highly advantageous

Role Description We have an exciting career opportunity for a Vice President of Business Development. The Vice President of Business Development acts as a subject matter expert on client support, providing advanced client support to a large and critical book of business and guiding other account service professionals in their work. The position requires independent judgment, a high level of expertise and advanced skill in developing client strategies in accordance with the seniority of the role. The Senior Account Executive possesses advanced skills including industry forecasting, carrier and industry relationship management, and advanced client retention strategies. The Senior AE can effectively partner with Producers to drive new business. How you'll make an impact - Client Support - Leads meetings with clients including meetings at client locations. - Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of business. - Provides proactive support on specific initiatives which deliver unique value through the execution of client specific business plans service timelines and corporate communications. - Effectively manages difficult client communications including changes in terms of enrollment guidelines risk assessment and group size/details. - Supporting client retention by maintaining a positive relationship and image with client. - Account Management - Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate. - May design programs or enrollment options for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management. - Owns all audit review and enrollment processes for assigned book of business. - Analyzes data to draft client service plans stewardship reports and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation. - Insurance Expertise - Manages and develops strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. - Proficient in enrollment and program guidelines can negotiate with providers as needed. - Fluent in the client's industry and current events that can modify the program options as needed. - Reviews changes in carrier offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service team. - Leadership - Mentors or formally directs the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers. - Facilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency's renewal strategy. - Client Strategy - Provides clients with tailored EB programs and reviews methods of handling risks. - Identifies and explains gaps in program. Works with the producer to write new business. - Educates clients concerning the regulatory environment and assists clients with compliance issues as necessary. Qualifications - Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience. - Producer's License. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Appropriate licensing as required.
