Patient Services Representative, Billing

Role Description The Patient Services Representative, Billing will be responsible for: - Building paper bills for mailing and fax submission and electronic submission via portal and clearinghouse for all insurances and third-party billers. - Partnering with the prior authorization and collections departments to maximize company revenue. Qualifications - High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's in related field preferred. - At least 3 years of medical office/provider/billing/collections work experience with insurance procedures. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficiency with computer, internet, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). - Experience with multiple payor portals is a plus. - Problem-solving skills: identifies and resolves problems efficiently, gathers and analyzes information, develops solutions, and uses reason. Requirements - Generate paper bills via PDF for mail/fax submission to insurance. - Enter electronic bills via insurance/clearinghouse portal where applicable. - Analyze documentation on file to ensure proper billing; eligibility, authorization, service rendered, etc. - Ensure billing meets regulatory and insurance requirements for proper billing. - Submit corrected claims to fix errors and in response to insurance denials. - Recognize, flag, and resolve payor issues as they arise. - Strong attention to detail is required to ensure accurate billing. - Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect the patient and corporation. - Assist and communicate with all departments to help increase efficiency and accuracy. - Respond in a timely manner to all inquiries from customers, sales reps, and co-workers. - Answer and appropriately route all incoming company calls. - Record and relay phone messages to appropriate parties. - Perform technical and customer support, as needed. - Perform all necessary administration tasks when necessary. - Maintain accurate data in third-party billing and in-house ERP systems. - Future cross-training in authorizations and collections. - Perform other duties as assigned. Role Description MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, FP&A in a remote position to support our growing Central team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: - Lead the development and execution of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support both short-term and long-term strategic planning. - Own and drive financial planning cycles, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. - Provide in-depth financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. - Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annual) for executive leadership and key stakeholders. - Partner closely with cross-functional leaders (operations, sales, HR, etc.) to evaluate business performance, influence decision-making, and support strategic initiatives. - Lead and mentor FP&A team members, fostering development, accountability, and high-performance standards. - Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. - Support corporate strategy initiatives, including business case development, scenario planning, and investment analysis. - Lead ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects, including executive-level presentations and recommendations. - Support M&A activities as needed, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and performance tracking. - Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - (MBA or CPA/CFA desired) - 10+ years in FP&A or corporate finance & five (5) + years leading teams. - Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with strong financial modeling and analysis. - Working knowledge of ERP and planning tools, such as Netsuite, OneStream, etc. - Business Partnering: Experience working with leaders across teams (Sales, HR, Operations). - Ability to influence decisions and explain financial results clearly. - Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams. - Experience delivering executive financial reports. - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. - Familiar with ERP and planning tools. - Experience with M&A and strategic projects (preferred). - Strong problem-solving and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
