Role Description We are seeking an experienced NopCommerce Developer to support and enhance a recently upgraded e-commerce platform. This role will play a critical part in stabilizing the current environment, improving user experience, and expanding integrations across multiple business systems. This is not a maintenance-level role. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, senior-level e-commerce engineer who can work across backend systems, integrations, and custom code to drive meaningful improvements. - Support and enhance a NopCommerce 4.8 platform, including ongoing feature development and performance optimization - Maintain and extend a large custom plugin that handles backend data synchronization, order processing, and system integrations - Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including mobile UX challenges, bugs, and system stability concerns - Improve search functionality and personalization using Algolia, including implementation of event tracking and conversion analytics - Design, build, and maintain integrations across: - ERP systems (Infor / SightLine) - PIM pipeline (Boomi) - AWS RDS-hosted databases - Develop and maintain APIs and webhooks to support real-time data flow between systems - Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic - Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions - Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation of existing custom codebase Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in .NET / C# development (ASP.NET Core preferred) - Strong hands-on experience with NopCommerce (customization, extensions, architecture) - Proven experience working on complex e-commerce platforms (not just plugin-level work) - Deep understanding of: - REST APIs and webhooks - SQL Server and database design - System integrations and data pipelines - Experience working with search platforms such as Algolia (or similar tools) - Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments (AWS preferred) - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex, custom-built environments Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Boomi or similar iPaaS tools - Background integrating ERP systems into e-commerce platforms - Experience working with data analytics, tracking, and personalization frameworks - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Prior experience inheriting and improving legacy or heavily customized codebases Engagement Details - Fully remote, U.S.-based candidates only (must be able to support U.S. time zones) - Initial contract duration: 6–12 months, with potential for extension - Ongoing support work with additional project-based enhancements scoped separately What Success Looks Like - Stabilizing and improving the performance of the existing NopCommerce platform - Delivering measurable improvements in user experience and conversion tracking - Successfully enhancing and maintaining complex integrations across systems - Bringing structure, clarity, and scalability to a highly customized environment

• Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services using Python and Django. • Develop and optimize modern front-end applications using Vue.js and Vite. • Collaborate with DevOps to manage infrastructure using Terraform and CDK for Terraform. • Utilize Docker and Docker Compose to streamline local development and deployment processes. • Implement secure and efficient secrets management with 1Password CLI. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage production deployments using Uvicorn, Nginx, and container orchestration tools. • Debug and troubleshoot full-stack issues using tools such as VSCode and remote debugging techniques. • Mentor junior developers and actively participate in architectural and technical decision-making.
