Technical Advisor, Electronic Health Records (EHR) Modernization
MCD Global Health
• Provide expert training and technical assistance in EHR implementation across healthcare and public health settings • Support effective adoption and integration of a statewide EHR modernization initiative serving rural hospitals, clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Mental and Behavioral Health organizations, and other rural healthcare partners • Deliver high-quality technical assistance and training to participating healthcare organizations and partners • Develop and maintain training curricula, implementation guides, workflow tools, and technical resource materials • Assist healthcare partners in improving digital health adoption, operational efficiency, and user engagement • Contribute to measurable improvements in EHR utilization, interoperability readiness, workflow integration, and staff competency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred but not a requirement)
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations, or health information technology support
- Experience working in rural or mixed urban–rural healthcare settings is desirable
- Expertise in EHR systems, telehealth, virtual care, or health IT implementation
- Strong instructional design and adult learning skills; ability to deliver engaging, effective training
- Experience providing hands-on technical assistance in healthcare or public health settings
- Knowledge of clinical workflows, operational processes, and integration of digital solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to improve implementation outcomes.
