Junior/Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

NEC Software Solutions

• Build and maintain software features using Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot and modern web technologies, including RESTful APIs that support internal systems and integrations. • Contribute to front-end development where needed, working with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular or AngularJS. • Write clean, readable and maintainable code, working with relational and NoSQL databases to query, structure and manage data effectively. • Support quality through unit, integration and functional testing, code reviews and defect resolution, with support from the team where needed. • Use Git, build tools and CI/CD pipelines as part of everyday development, working closely with product, QA, design, DevOps and other engineers to deliver working software. • Develop and apply good engineering practice across security, performance, accessibility and maintainability.

Job Requirements

  • Around 2 to 5 years of software development experience, preferably in a commercial development environment, although capability and potential matter more than exact years.
  • Hands-on experience with Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming, with exposure to Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks, alongside working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with Git, collaborative development workflows, CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery.
  • A test-first attitude , with a willingness to write and maintain automated tests as part of normal development.
  • Ability to work well in an agile team, communicate clearly and take a practical, reliable approach to delivery.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for technology, with a willingness to learn, improve and take on more technical ownership over time.

Role Description We are looking for an Integrations Analyst to help lead and implement integrations between our client’s EMR systems and our cloud-based Imagen systems. You will be responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality and reliable data exchange solutions. This is a hands-on technical role, and our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. - Work with clients, vendors, and internal teams to understand data requirements and develop best in class data exchange solutions. - Be responsible for leading, managing, and implementing integrations for multiple projects concurrently. - Own the end-to-end verification and validation process for all integrations. - Document and maintain ongoing the integration details to include a data flow diagram for all integration projects. - Serve as the subject matter expert to EMR vendors regarding Imagen systems to include, but not limited to Mirth, eRAD, Fluency, and Studycast. - Work closely with customers to provide consultation on solutions to business problems. - Apply a thorough knowledge of the needs of a business unit and knowledge of systems technology to identify and design improvements for integration solutions and applications. - Provide high-quality systems and client support for day to day operations and new customer deployments, including after hours coverage. Qualifications - BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics or a related field; or comparable experience - 3+ years of experience with health care integrations using HL7 and DICOM - Familiarity with one or more controls frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, ISO, SOC2, etc.) is required - Integration experience with multiple EMR vendors is a plus, but not required - Experience with Intersystems (Iris) integration engine is a plus, but not required - Experience with programming languages (javascript, python, c#, java, object oriented programming, cache) is preferred - Excellent communication and project management skills - Enjoys working with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Located in or open to working PST hours (8am - 5pm) Requirements - Imagen Technologies is a remote-first company and this job is conducted remotely. - The base salary is between $80,000 - $195,000, plus equity and benefits.
