Role Description The Data Analyst Intern will support ABA Center’s operational and strategic initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement efforts. This role is designed for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in business analytics, healthcare operations, and data-driven decision making. The intern will assist with collecting, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing operational data to help identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and support leadership reporting. This position offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration and real-world business intelligence practices within a growing healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities - Assist with collecting, organizing, and validating operational data from multiple sources - Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools - Analyze operational trends and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement - Help maintain reporting accuracy, consistency, and distribution processes - Prepare data summaries, visualizations, and presentations for leadership review - Participate in process improvement and operational analytics projects - Perform ad hoc analysis and administrative support related to operational reporting as needed Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred - Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and reporting methodologies - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills Requirements - Must be eligible to receive academic credit through an accredited college or university - Documentation from the academic institution may be required prior to the start of the internship - Internship schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 5 hours per day (schedule to be coordinated with academic requirements) Benefits - $18 - $22 /hour + College Credit - Duration: 8-12 weeks - Schedule: 30-40 hours per week - Monday-Friday

Qualifications - Solid data manipulation skills: proficient in SQL and Python, comfortable transforming and modeling raw data from multiple sources into clean, analysis-ready datasets. - 3+ years of proven experience in data analytics in the tech industry. - Hands-on deployment and production experience: shipped data work to production using modern tooling like dbt, Airflow, and GitHub (or equivalents). - BI tool expertise (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent): build and maintain complex dashboards independently and make smart visualization decisions. - Strong stakeholder data translation: convert business questions into scoped, realistic deliverables and know what to prioritize when bandwidth is limited. - Production mindset: own what you build, monitor it, and ensure it keeps working long after launch. - Comfort operating at scale: worked with high-volume datasets where performance, cost, and reconciliation across sources matter.
