Principal Informatics Pharmacist

Role Description The Principal Informatics Pharmacist is responsible for supporting and optimizing pharmacy applications to ensure accurate medication workflows across VUMC locations. This role manages updates related to medication build, formulary adjustments, order set build, and medication billing. Leads collaboration with team members to maintain system reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to safe and timely medication delivery. - Performs critical clinical duties on the Pharmacy Informatics team, which manages medication safety configurations for workflows across the enterprise. - Applies critical pharmacy practice knowledge to ensure clinically appropriate updates to medication dosing, formulary, drug preparation, and shortage management. - Has ownership of maintaining order sets, ensuring accurate medication build, and adapting workflows to regulatory and clinical changes that directly impact patient care and safety throughout the medication use process. (Note: This role is open to remote work from most US locations) Qualifications - Experience with Epic Pharmacy applications (Epic Willow certification strongly preferred). - Familiarity with Omnicell-Epic interface preferred. - Bachelor’s degree (required) / Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) - strongly preferred. Requirements - Technical Analysis (Advanced): Understands core functionality of assigned products and their interactions with other systems. - Configuration Management and Planning (Intermediate): Applies knowledge to support configuration plans and schedules. - Testing (Advanced): Participates in test planning and execution for moderately complex scenarios. - Product Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates solid understanding of Epic Willow and other pharmacy applications and related systems. - Problem Management (Intermediate): Handles incident tracking and problem reporting for routine and moderately complex issues. - Business Knowledge (Intermediate): Understands core business processes and how technology supports them. Position Summary: Codoxo is seeking a [temporary] full-time Payment Integrity Data Curator to support the development and refinement of Codoxo’s AI-driven payment integrity products by expanding and curating high-quality datasets used to measure and improve AI performance. This is a temporary 6-month role. This is a specialized role designed for experienced payment integrity professionals who can translate operational investigation and audit expertise into structured datasets that support the next generation of healthcare AI tools. The PI Data Curator will work closely with Codoxo’s AI, product, and customer success teams to curate datasets that represent real-world payment integrity scenarios and investigative workflows across medical and pharmacy domains. - Ground Truth Expansion - Expanding the curated ground truth dataset of SIU cases and claims used to measure the performance of Codoxo AI detection models and support continuous product development and improvements. - GenAI Investigator Workflow Feedback - Providing detailed feedback on how Codoxo’s GenAI tools interpret medical records and investigation artifacts, ensuring that the insights generated are useful for real-world payment integrity investigators and auditors. - Synthetic Healthcare Data Curation - Reviewing and curating synthetic datasets generated by AI and data engineering teams to ensure they accurately reflect real-world healthcare claims, medical records, and diagnostic imaging clinical scenarios.
