Carrier Operations Representative

• Accurately update and document shipment statuses in internal systems • Monitor carrier performance to ensure timely deliveries and resolve mid-transit issues according to company SOPs • Contact carriers to obtain time-sensitive updates and log information appropriately • Manage team email, responding to both internal and external requests in a timely manner • Proactively identify and communicate issues to relevant teams for quick resolution • Assist Carrier Sales Representatives by ensuring smooth operations across their book of business • Collaborate with internal departments and maintain a professional attitude while working under pressure • Stay informed about industry trends, including seasonal and geographic freight dynamics • Be open to learning and mastering the company’s proprietary technology and systems • Maintain a positive attitude, exhibit a strong work ethic, and contribute to team success • Support co-workers and management by fostering a collaborative work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or logistics coordination on the US market
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software
  • Proven ability to build productive internal and external partnerships
  • Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and using technology efficiently
  • Willingness to learn about freight markets, carrier types, and transportation trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate in work
  • Able to work confidently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
