Advanced Specialist, Compliance & Operations

• Ensure that BTEC inquiries and requests for support for vocational centres and BTEC support staff are actioned. • Distribute official correspondence, meeting notes, and follow-up action trackers for Pearson and related stakeholders. • Manage the proper documentation and archiving of QA records, assessment reports, verification forms, and training outputs. • Manage project data and performance evaluation, tracking progress, needs, outcomes, and verification records. • Assist and support in any required administrative and logistical requirements. • Support the training and upskilling BTEC staff when appropriate, ensuring knowledge transfer and follow-up support in partnership with the Pearson training team. • Plan and support training sessions and capacity-building initiatives for centres, lecturers, and administrative staff. • Provide mentoring on the learner recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the learners’ capabilities. • Ensure that feedback is collected from teachers and learners through centre visits, surveys or interviews to inform quality improvements. • Support the review and validate documents such as assessment materials, teacher resources, centre resources, and internal verification (IV) documents for compliance with Pearson QA standards. • Ensure that support is provided for the planning and organisation of assessments and programme delivery in coordination with the centres to meet regulatory requirements Pearson. • Ensure that support is provided for the standard verification / external examination process, prepare required documentation and coordinate with stakeholders. • Support centre compliance with Pearson QA standards and escalate issues as required. • Manage, plan and conduct visits as appropriate to identify areas for improvement, collect evidence, and highlight best practices. • Manage and monitor the log of risks and issues. • Provide regular reports to Pearson on QA performance, assessments, and overall progress.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or relevant vocational qualifications or extensive experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in education, vocational training, or programme support.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of regularity requirements within Pakistan
  • Experience in quality assurance, external examination, or assessment processes.
  • BTEC / undergraduate delivery and assessment experience.
  • Prior experience working with international organisations, TVET institutions is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Pearson BTEC or TVET frameworks in Pakistan is an advantage.
  • Prior experience of working with government departments in Pakistan is an advantage.
