Job Description
DevOps Tech Lead / Infra Architect / DevOps Team Lead
Talentgrator
Role Description This is more than just a senior engineering role - you will become the face of infrastructure within the company, shaping the strategy, implementing best practices, and influencing the product direction. What You Will Do: - Design infrastructure for high-load distributed systems (from bare-metal to Kubernetes in the cloud). - Take ownership of the platform: its reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security. - Lead the DevOps team: mentor, support, develop, and involve engineers in architectural and product decisions. - Build and execute infrastructure roadmaps (migrations, high availability, observability, security, etc.). - Collaborate with development teams and product managers, participating in planning and implementation of changes. - Participate in incident management — both technical (infrastructure failures) and process-related. - Manage projects: planning, task decomposition, progress tracking, and removing blockers. Tech Stack: - Linux / Virtualization: Debian/Ubuntu, Proxmox VE, QEMU/KVM, libvirt. - Networking: routing, VPN, BGP, DNS, load balancing, high availability, Cloudflare, Fastly. - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible. - Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab CI. - Monitoring & Logging: Grafana, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Zabbix, ELK, Opsgenie, SigNoz. - Databases & Messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis/Valkey, Kafka, RabbitMQ. - Scripting / Tooling: Bash, Python, Golang. - Cloud (preferred): AWS, GCP. - Processes & Culture: GitOps, DevOps, SRE practices. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Architect, or Technical Lead in a product-focused company. - Proven leadership experience: driving projects, managing people, participating in hiring and developing engineers. - Strong systems thinking: ability to design architecture, foresee the impact of decisions, simplify complexity. - Ownership mindset: solving problems rather than assigning blame. - Proactivity: you do not wait for tasks — you shape the vision and lead the team toward it. Requirements - Experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP. - Programming skills in Python or Golang. Nice to Have - Experience building and maintaining high-load / high-availability products. - Experience migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes or to the cloud. - Participation in building CI/CD and GitOps processes. - Experience hiring and forming engineering teams. Benefits - 20 days of paid vacation, 5 family days and sick leave compensation. - Flexible workday start, allowing you to manage your schedule comfortably. - Support from a professional corporate coach and psychologist. - Regular internal and external activities, workshops, team trips, and corporate events. - Access to our internal knowledge base, meetups, and team-building initiatives. - Continuous learning opportunities: training in new technologies and ongoing support for your professional development.

Role Description We are launching our entire platform from scratch — fully cloud-native, automated, and built on top of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code principles. We are a small and fast-growing engineering team, and we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will own the whole cloud infrastructure and shape the technical direction of the platform. What you will build: - Build our entire AWS cloud infrastructure from scratch following automation-first, HA, and security-by-design principles; - Design and operate Kubernetes environments; create and maintain custom Helm charts; - Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using modular Terraform structures; - Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps delivery workflows; - Build secure networking architecture: VPC, VPN, WAF, firewalls, ingress controllers; - Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing (Prometheus / Grafana / Loki / Tempo); - Deploy and maintain infrastructure for PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ; - Define solutions for container registry and artifact management; - Ensure system scalability, reliability, observability, and security; - Participate in architectural discussions and influence OptiPlay’s platform engineering strategy. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering; - AWS production experience: VPC, VPN, WAF, firewalls, multi-environment setups, networking fundamentals; - Kubernetes: strong understanding of internals, Helm, container runtime ecosystem; - Terraform: modular IaC design, reusable infrastructure patterns, infra from scratch; - CI/CD & GitOps: GitLab CI, ArgoCD, automated deployment workflows; - Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, or similar; - Datastores & Messaging: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, RabbitMQ; - Networking & Proxying: NGINX, HAProxy, Traefik, ingress controllers; - Automation & Scripting: Bash, Python (or similar); - Artifact Management: modern registries like ECR, Harbor, Nexus, etc; - Experience designing infrastructure for high-load, distributed, real-time systems.
