• Provide data analysis support to the Department of Commerce (DOC), International Trade Administration (ITA). • Perform analysis of all data into, out of and within Department of Commerce as needed. • Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development of plans to resolve these issues. • Be proficient in data visualization concepts. • Have knowledge and experience with analytical expression languages. • Generate general-purpose scripting. • Create end-to-end data preparation workflows. • Collaborate with enterprise data analysts and data engineers to identify and acquire data. • Execute the processes to transform data, create data models, visualize data, and share data assets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in math, statistics, operations research, economics or related quantitative discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing in a data analyst role
  • Knowledge and expertise supporting enterprise data engineering
  • Experience with various analytics platforms
  • Experience with cloud data services
  • Knowledge and expertise supporting multiple AI/ML initiatives
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, APIs, Python, Power BI, ETL orchestration, and Dev/Sec/Ops practices
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication in English.
  • U.S. Citizen or Similar

The Team: Upstart’s Servicing Analytics team partners closely with Operations, Product, and leadership teams to improve borrower outcomes and operational effectiveness across the servicing lifecycle. As a Staff Data Analyst at Upstart, you will serve as a strategic analytics partner to Operations and Product leaders, helping shape servicing strategy through data-driven insights and scalable reporting solutions. You will work across ambiguous and evolving business problems, independently identifying opportunities, diagnosing trends, and influencing decision-making with clear analytical recommendations. Title: Data Analyst I in Patient-Centered Research Location: Remote Mexico Full time Remote The Data Analyst I provides extensive statistical and data programming support across multiple projects within the Patient-Centered Research (PCR) group. The PCR group largely conducts survey (questionnaire) research with sample sizes ranging from quite small (less than 50 patients) to thousands of patients. You would be joining an industry-leading team of 20+ analysts dedicated to PCR science and covering a wide range of projects (e.g., statistical analysis of clinical endpoints, psychometric analysis of patient-reported outcome instruments, discrete choice modelling of patient preferences). The Data Analyst I will primarily conduct descriptive analyses and statistical modelling of clinical outcome assessment data from clinical studies. This role is integral to the success of the organization and works closely with a variety of stakeholders.
