Job Description

Project Manager

AeroCloud Systems

Title: Project Manager Location: US, Remote Department: Delivery Job Description: AeroCloud: Revolutionizing Airport Operations AeroCloud is the new-age operating system for airports aiming to grow. Our suite includes Airport Operating Systems (AOS), PPS, and Passenger Flow Management solutions, empowering airports to gain deep insights into the movement of passengers and aircraft around the world. We achieve this by becoming the airport’s first call for technology. Whether in times of need or growth, we stand alongside our clients, offering support through innovative software that drives their success. Our Commitment to Excellence At AeroCloud, being the airport’s first call means exceeding expectations at every customer interaction. This is not just a goal; it’s our standard. We prioritize detail, diligence, and a proactive approach in everything we do. If there’s a task to be completed, we see it through. If a customer needs an answer we don’t yet have, we respond promptly to let them know we’re on it. We believe in keeping our team informed, being transparent, and maintaining accountability at every step. About The Role AeroCloud is growing its US delivery capability, and we need a Project Manager who can own end-to-end delivery of airport technology implementations across our North American client base. This is not a task-tracker role. You will be the person responsible for making implementations work from contract signature to BAU handover in complex, live airport environments. You will be working across multiple airports simultaneously, managing hardware logistics, airline onboarding, client relationships, and cross-functional internal teams. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, can hold teams to account without direct authority, and understands how the solution works to spot problems before they become critical showstoppers. Responsibilities End-to-End Project Delivery: - Translate signed contracts and customer requirements into a structured, sequenced delivery plan - Define milestones, surface the critical path, and manage dependencies across hardware procurement, software configuration, airline onboarding, and go-live. - Keep the program moving: proactively identify blockers, escalate where needed, and resolve them before they slip timelines - Manage end to end delivery in AeroCloud’s project delivery platform: tasks, milestones, approvals, and status must always reflect reality Client Relationship Management: - Act as the day-to-day point of contact for each airport throughout implementation - Set clear expectations. Communicate risks and delays before they become surprises. Manage scope changes without losing the relationship - Build confidence with airport operations, IT, and procurement stakeholders. They should feel like delivery is in safe hands - Support commercial discussions where they intersect with delivery change orders, timeline negotiations, acceptance criteria Internal Coordination: - Keep the AeroCloud delivery team aligned and accountable: engineering, product, hardware logistics, airline onboarding, and support - Run structured standups and progress reviews. Chase people down when things are slipping. Know the difference between noise and a real delivery risk - Ensure documentation and task tracking is complete, current, and useful - Coordinate closely with the UK based delivery leadership team, operating effectively across time zones Technical Understanding: - Develop a working understanding of how the AeroCloud platform integrates across cloud services, airport infrastructure, networking, hardware, airline DCS connectivity, and peripheral devices - Be comfortable engaging with airport IT and technical stakeholders on deployment topics including networking, endpoint configuration, windows imaging, firewall rules, and operational dependencies - Identify technical dependencies and implementation risks early, ensuring issues are escalated with sufficient context to enable rapid resolution by engineering teams Documentation and Handover: - Maintain accurate project plans, risk registers, change logs, and meeting records throughout delivery - Ensure all documentation is complete and signed off ahead of UAT and go-live - Own the transition from implementation to BAU support: briefing the support team, confirming asset registers, and ensuring the client can operate independently - Lead post-implementation reviews and feed lessons back into delivery methodology What We’re Looking For Essential: - Proven track record of delivering complex technology implementations on time and on scope, in client-facing roles - Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously: technical teams, commercial contacts, and operational users - Strong technical literacy to understand infrastructure and software deployments, even if you are not an engineer - Strong discipline around project governance, task management, status reporting, and delivery tooling - Ability to prioritise effectively in fast moving environments where multiple projects and competing deadlines are active simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication - Highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive in follow through - Comfortable working remotely with a distributed team, including regular communication across US/UK time zones - Willingness to travel to airport sites across the US as required Desirable: - Experience in aviation, airport technology, or transport infrastructure - Background in SaaS or managed services delivery - Familiarity with common use airport systems (CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD) or airline DCS environments - Experience delivering hardware led programs involving logistics, onsite installation, and commissioning - Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) valued but not required if your track record speaks for itself - Experience working with infrastructure, networking, or endpoint management teams What We Offer - Competitive salary - Best in class Share / Equity Scheme - 20 days annual leave + statutory holidays - Take your birthday off work on us as well - Extensive upskilling and training - 401k scheme (employee only contributions) - Company funded health insurance - Company funded dental and vision insurance Our Ethos AeroCloud recognises Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion at the heart of our business. They represent the mutual trust, respect and understanding we strive for. They are integral to our brand, reputation, success, business sustainability and employee relations impact. Our vision is to have a diverse, equal and inclusive organisational culture. We want everyone who comes into contact with us, both face to face and virtually, to feel valued and respected. We want our workplace both in the office and at home to foster belonging to all colleagues to feel seen, connected, supported and proud. We will draw on the rich diversity of our workforce and harness the diverse contributions and considerable talents of our staff to achieve our vision in line with our organisational values and DE&I principles. AeroCloud is an equal opportunities employer so if you have any specific work or access requirements as a result of a condition or disability then AeroCloud would be committed to working with you on the best way to support this at work.
