Part-Time ABA Billing Specialist (CentralReach / AHCCCS) Scottsdale, AZ Part Time Mid Level Part-Time ABA Billing Specialist (CentralReach / AHCCCS) Company Creative Therapy Solution (CTS) is an Arizona-based ABA practice supporting neurodivergent learners and their families. We are seeking an experienced ABA Billing Specialist to support our revenue cycle and ensure accurate, timely insurance billing. This role requires direct experience with CentralReach, Waystar, and AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid). We are looking for someone who understands ABA billing and can independently manage benefit checks, authorizations, claims, and accounts receivable. Responsibilities • Verify insurance benefits for new ABA clients (commercial & AHCCCS) • Conduct benefit checks and document coverage details in CentralReach • Submit and track authorizations with AHCCCS and commercial payers • Monitor authorization expiration dates and coordinate renewals • Submit claims through Waystar • Ensure accurate billing of ABA CPT codes (97151, 97153, 97155, etc.) • Identify and resolve claim rejections • Follow up on unpaid claims and manage AR aging • Investigate denials and submit appeals when necessary • Manage coordination of benefits (COB) when clients have multiple insurance plans • Maintain billing compliance with payer policies Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years ABA billing experience • Experience using CentralReach • Experience submitting claims through Waystar • Knowledge of AHCCCS / Arizona Medicaid billing • Experience with benefit checks, authorizations, and AR follow-up • Familiarity with ABA CPT codes • Strong attention to detail and organization • Ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications • Experience billing Arizona payers such as Mercy Care, BCBS, Aetna, or UnitedHealthcare • Experience working in an ABA or behavioral health practice • Strong denial management and appeals experience Schedule Part-time: 15–25 hours per week Remote or hybrid (Arizona preferred)

Role Description Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Credit Specialist.
