Our Supply Chain organization plays a vital role in ensuring the successful procurement and management of specialized materials, equipment, and services that enable development, production, and sustainment programs across a variety of contract types. THE WORK The selected candidate will be responsible for developing subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions in support of complex subcontracting activities. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing supplier proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and supporting subcontract awards and administration activities. Additional responsibilities include: - Managing subcontract activities supporting development, production, and global sustainment programs - Coordinating and negotiating subcontract modifications, including additions, deletions, and changes in scope - Preparing subcontract packages for management review and approval - Collaborating with contracts administration and purchasing teams to support subcontract policy and procedure development - Supporting supplier relationship management and subcontract performance execution - Reviewing supplier proposals for cost, technical, schedule, and contractual compliance - Participating in source selection and supplier evaluation activities - Signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority levels, as applicable WHO WE ARE Lockheed Martin is a global leader in aerospace, defense, and advanced technology solutions. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
