We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer II to help design and develop the next generation of haircare products: things that work better, feel better, and genuinely improve people's daily routines. This is a hands-on role with real creative latitude. You'll work across the full product lifecycle - from initial concept through mass production - on a team that moves fast, prototypes early, and takes consumer experience seriously at every stage. What You'll Do You'll be a core contributor on a cross-functional engineering team, owning design problems from first principles through manufacturable solutions. - Define product architecture on innovative new haircare platforms, collaborating closely with electrical, ID, and product development teams - Design parts and assemblies for injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion, machining, and other manufacturing processes - Build and iterate prototypes for design reviews, performance testing, and consumer validation - Integrate electrical systems into mechanical designs, evaluating trade-offs and making meaningful design decisions - Design and execute DOEs to develop a rigorous, first-principles understanding of key performance variables - Tear down, debug, and analyze electro-mechanical appliances to identify root causes and improvement opportunities - Source and validate critical components with global manufacturing and vendor partners - Research emerging technologies to help shape SharkNinja's future product roadmap What You Bring - BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering - 2-4+ years of experience in product design and development, working within real cost and manufacturing constraints - Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Creo (Creo preferred) - Strong knowledge of injection molding DFM, sheet metal forming, 3D printing, and laser cutting - Experience creating engineering drawings with GD&T and tolerance stack-ups - Solid grasp of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid flow - Sharp analytical skills and a genuine instinct for identifying problems before they become issues - Comfortable switching gears quickly and thriving in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Why This Team You'll be joining a category that's growing fast, on a team with the freedom to experiment and the resources to execute. Role Description Working closely with the Project Manager, acting as Technical Lead on various projects, and supporting the technical capability and production requirements of the projects.
