Electronic Health Record Analyst II

• Responsible for the performance of tasks related to EHR system implementation, adoption, enhancement, and support • Develops a strong understanding of assigned application(s) and can demonstrate a proficiency in navigating through the Electronic Health Record (EHR) • Meets with relevant personnel to gather information and observe workflows • Demonstrates the understanding of both the current and proposed workflows and can document the workflows using a flowchart format • Identifies opportunities and propose solutions to streamline the workflow to gain efficiencies • Produces documentation including current and future state workflows, pros/cons, gap analysis, needs assessments, design specifications, build documentation, test plans, project plans, status reports and transitionary documentation • Performs application testing including scenario-based, integrated, and parallel testing • Applies critical thinking to problem solving and strives to understand the root cause of the issue • Communicates effectively with peers, informaticians, stakeholders, project teams, and leadership • Provides regular updates regarding work status and demonstrates appropriate issue escalation • Completes system build and documentation in accordance with department guidelines and in adherence to change management policy • Actively participates in meetings by being an engaged listener and offering both feedback and input • Prepares training material and conducts training classes in either virtual or in-person settings • Adheres to best practices regarding information security • Participates in team on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 support to assigned areas • Provides remote and/or on-site support as needed to end-users • Supports system upgrades, patches, and monitoring • Assists in the preparation of department guidelines, standards, procedures, and policies • Participates in vendor review and selection processes
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
- Minimum of 4 years-Relevant experience* (Required)
- Epic Ambulatory/Outpatient build experience (certification a plus)
- Project Management: PMP Certification
- Additional Epic experience willing to consider: Healthy Planet & Compass Rose Research Beacon Cupid EpicCare Ambulatory Specialty Modules (i.e., Bones, Kaleidoscope, and Dermatology)

Resolution Analyst – Denials
EnableCompWe partner with over 1,000 healthcare providers to maximize their complex claims reimbursements.
• Review, evaluate, appeal, and follow up on outstanding, denied, underpaid, and other assigned claims using EnableComp’s proprietary software, systems and tools. • Use payment documentation provided by payers and medical provider contract information to determine the correct reimbursement. • Efficiently review hospital contracts to identify and collect cash payments from insurance companies, ensuring prompt payments of denied and underpaid claims. • Research, request, and acquire all pertinent medical records and supporting documentation to create and submit complex underpayment appeals to the appropriate payer, ensuring accurate and timely claim reimbursement. • Conduct timely and thorough telephone follow-up with payers to ensure claims with supporting documentation have been received and facilitate resolution of outstanding receivables. • Ensures smooth operations and improves customer satisfaction. • Other duties as required.
