Clara
• Leading technical direction and architecture for high-impact internal systems and services. • Setting quality standards through code reviews and design reviews. • Building the integration platform that lets other teams across Clara connect into the ClarOps backend. • Reviewing product specs from a technical perspective to flag feasibility gaps. • Running the team's execution rhythm: sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. • Elevating the team through pairing, mentorship, and knowledge sharing. • Driving cross-team problem-solving and architectural discussions. • Applying AI tools to ship faster and improve workflows.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with proven role-specific execution as the senior technical voice on a team.
- Solid backend foundation in Java.
- Comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team, holding sound technical opinions on frontend architecture (ideally with React ecosystems) and integration.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and event-driven systems.
- A technical product mindset: you read the roadmap, not just the sprint.
- Working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- High autonomy, proactivity, and an ownership mindset.
- Active experience or a genuine interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate code delivery and automate day-to-day engineering workflows.
- Adaptability to fast-changing, high-growth environments.
