Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of the Apache Fire Control program team. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors performance of suppliers. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions. Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. May prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Supply Chain from an accredited college - Computer experience including Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Ability to travel - Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills: - Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions - Work independently and in a team environment - Demonstrate ability to lead a team - Work with all levels of management - Knowledge in SQL and tableau Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. • Own and drive category strategy, spend, and sourcing outcomes • Deliver best total cost while ensuring quality and service • Lead tenders, negotiations, and contracts with global suppliers • Develop and execute category strategies with focus to deliver lowest total cost for the required quality and service levels • Build and develop a competitive, sustainable supplier base • Mitigate risk and ensure continuity of supply • Leverage supplier innovation to support business growth • Use advanced tools (e-sourcing, analytics, AI) to improve efficiency and transparency • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across business units
• Manages, develops, and implements project(s) of varying complexity and size in Procurement. • Partners with business stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. • Provides consultation for established Procurement processes. • May manage a small team. • Provides business function interfacing and triaging Procurement teams to the correct functional contacts and processes. • Assists other Center of Excellence (CoE) resources with point expertise on their area of focus. • Helps Procurement function with exception management to standard processes. • Engages with Procurement leadership on reporting and special project requests.
