If you're ready to join in our mission, advance your career, and have fun while doing so - apply today! - Perform database management activities using Microsoft SQL Server. - Analyze, design, and review logical and physical data models. - Support the application system development life cycle. - Perform data analysis and correction activities. - Review stored procedures and recommend improvements to enhance performance. - Monitor database performance and space requirements and give recommendations to improve. - Help maintain database access security and database integrity. - Ensure databases are backed up appropriately and can be restored if necessary. - Assist with database server infrastructure and software analysis and recommendations. - Create and maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and operations. - Keep current with the features of new database releases and related database products and make recommendations as to their use. - Make recommendations on best practices and improvements surrounding database administration practices. - Use strong communication skills; both written and spoken. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in information technology or other relevant field OR equivalent work experience. - At least 6 years of experience in a DBA role, or similar. - Strong knowledge of database management using Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred). - Proven expertise in optimizing database queries in SQL. - Track record of successful troubleshooting and resolving database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data issues, and connectivity problems.
