Flight Control Engineer
SAPSOL Technologies Inc. : Systems and Process Solutions for your Enterprise
• Develop and improve both new and existing CLaws design and assessment tools using Matlab and C++ programming • Support CLaws, autopilot, and navigation design development for R&D projects • Develop CLaws and systems requirements • Perform requirements validation and verification for updates and designs • Verify and deliver CLaws in accordance with DO-178B and SAE ARP 4754 • Design and develop pilot in the loop CLaws based on various requirements • Evaluate CLaws and FBW system failures with analytical methods and simulations • Support integration of CLAWS into various test rigs and supplier hardware
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in the development of Flight Control Laws for FBW aircraft
- Proficient in aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics
- Proficient in classical and modern control systems design techniques for SISO and MIMO systems
- Good understanding of control law evaluation techniques
- Good understanding of aircraft stability and handling qualities
- Understanding of DO-178B standards and software certification
- Proficient in Matlab, Simulink, and C++
- Good understanding of state estimation or Kalman filtering
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English
- Team player with an innovative spirit

Role Description Eaton’s Power Components Division (PCD) is currently seeking a Connected Integration Engineer to join the team. This role requires up to 20% travel and can be remote within the United States or hybrid based at our facility in Moon Township, PA. The Connected Integration Engineer provides pre and post sales technical support for power and energy meters, protective relays, power distribution monitoring and control software, and related communication products.
