Role Description MyOme is looking for an experienced and pragmatic individual to join our integrations and portal team. This position will help enable patients and providers to order testing and understand results, bringing clarity and ease of use to complex genetics results. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of healthcare data and an eagerness to build value through fast prototyping and iteration. - Add new features to our backend systems to support portal enhancements - Support integration partners through reusable feature builds - Create test data to aid in the design and development of our systems - Develop new APIs - Contribute to the team through code reviews and design discussions - Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement - Balance quick wins with long-term technical sustainability Qualifications - No specific degree prerequisite. • Back-end Java/AWS developer to work on strategic projects in the banking sector, participating in the design and evolution of robust, scalable, and highly available solutions in cloud and distributed environments – hands-on, collaborative and consultative profile, comfortable working in agile teams and proactively contributing to technical improvements, architectural evolution and knowledge sharing. • Develop and maintain back-end applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build and maintain microservices architectures and monolithic applications. • Develop and consume REST APIs. • Contribute to the design and evolution of solutions in the public AWS cloud and private OpenShift cloud. • Implement asynchronous integrations using messaging with Kafka and SQS. • Develop process-driven solutions using Camunda BPMN. • Create and maintain unit and coverage tests using JUnit, Mockito and JaCoCo. • Apply Design Patterns, development best practices and architectural principles. • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting and environment configuration. • Propose continuous improvements focused on performance, scalability, stability and system efficiency. • Share technical knowledge with team members, promoting a collaborative environment and continuous learning.
