• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable backend services, primarily using Go and Python. • Architecting, optimizing, and maintaining relational database tables in PostgreSQL. • Leading technical projects from concept to launch, ensuring high quality and reliability. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to define requirements and implement solutions. • Conducting thorough code reviews and championing engineering best practices.
Job Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Production experience with a language like Go, Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience with a relational database like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience building and operating scalable APIs and services.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Working knowledge of coding tools such as GitHub, VSCode, or similar.
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
