Director Enterprise and Solution Architect

Role Description The Director, Enterprise & Solution Architect, will shape the future of our technology infrastructure and technical solutions, ensuring it aligns with the Company’s strategic growth. This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of healthcare systems, technology platforms, customer service & support management, vertical solutions, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity landscape. - Define intake requirements, design and implement robust and scalable enterprise platforms, services, and solutions. - Play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the Company’s enterprise technical stack. - Optimize systems and platforms to drive operational efficiency and provide a secure, compliant, and effortless customer experience. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). - Licenses/Certifications Required: - (ISC)² CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional - ISSAP – Information Systems Security Architecture Professional - 7+ years of experience leading enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments (healthcare preferred). - 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams. - Experience architecting and integrating enterprise and clinical technology platforms at scale. - Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders on enterprise technology initiatives. Requirements - 10+ years of experience leading enterprise and solution architecture in complex, regulated environments (healthcare preferred). - TOGAF® (The Open Group Architecture Framework). - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Strategic Technology, Automation, Planning and Leadership: - Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and requirements. - Evaluate current technology platforms and solutions to develop and execute comprehensive technology architecture. - Identify and prioritize key areas for technology platform changes or improvements. - Define and drive the implementation of enterprise architecture standards and best practices. - Partner with business and technical teams to identify high-value use cases for AI and machine learning. - Document, monitor, measure, and assess the impact of architecture changes. - Systems Design and Integration: - Design, model, test, secure, and implement enterprise-level systems and applications. - Define and design scalable, extensible architecture design patterns. - Assess and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks. - Create cost-effective, dependable, resilient, extensible, elastic, and scalable design proposals. - Security, Privacy and Compliance: - Ensure that enterprise technology solutions comply with healthcare regulations. - Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures. - Technology Evaluation and Innovation: - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. - Evaluate & measure our capabilities to the industry and build maturation metrics. - Evaluate and recommend new technologies that evolve the Company’s technical infrastructure. - Collaborate with leadership on the Company’s strategic plan. - Develop conceptual, detailed, and data flows architecture. - Project Oversight: - Provide guidance and oversight for technology projects. - Lead a technology advisory committee (TAC). - Collaborate with project managers to address technical challenges. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Leadership and Management: - Provide guidance, innovation, and leadership in developing the Company's technical staff. - Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment. - Prepare for and support future people leadership responsibilities.
