Role Description We're looking for a strong Product Business Analyst ready to own products, not just document them. To put it simply: you'll figure out what needs to be built, shape how it should work, and make sure it actually delivers value. You'll also work deeply with complex systems, constraints, dependencies, and engineering trade-offs — not only defining new functionality, but rethinking and improving existing solutions together with development teams. - Clarify requirements with clients – especially the ones they haven't articulated yet - Develop a strong product vision and translate it to the team - Work with engineering to estimate, plan, navigate trade-offs, and rethink solutions within complex system constraints and dependencies - Guide designers with functional context, ensure UX makes sense for the business and users both - Analyze system limitations, dependencies, and impacts to help shape scalable and feasible solutions - Track whether it's working – and iterate when it's not Example activities could look like below, but don't worry if you haven't done some of them – we support and teach 👌 - Analyze: lead discovery workshops, map AS-IS/TO-BE processes, define business goals, gaps, system constraints, and dependencies - Research: create and validate assumptions through research, analyze competitors and market opportunities - Build: translate needs into specs, shape user flows and product vision together with designers, collaborate with engineering on scope, feasibility, and technical implications - Measure: track success metrics, analyze usage data, validate hypotheses, and iterate based on what's working Qualifications - 3+ years in BA or Product Analyst roles - Strong English (your clients are native speakers) - You explain your thinking clearly — to clients, to engineers, to designers - "What if" and "why not" mindset — curious, not rigid - Comfortable with ambiguity — plan B is always in your back pocket - You understand UX, technical implications, and can connect the dots between business needs, users, and complex system realities Benefits - Career growth + training + language classes - Medical insurance + mental health support - Flexible hours, inclusive culture - Benefits for fitness, hobbies, pets & more

Sand TechnologiesA global tech-services and talent-solutions company with expertise in industrial AI, data science, software, and more.
• Own the BA workstream by driving discovery efforts, framing problems, and managing the product backlog across near, mid, and far horizons. • Write, refine, and validate user stories and clear acceptance criteria while championing a culture of Continuous Discovery. • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Product Owner, stepping in as the de facto PO to prioritize use cases and guide solution direction when necessary. • Independently design and facilitate requirements workshops, design conferences, and process walkthroughs. • Manage complex, multi-level stakeholder relationships across client and delivery organizations (including technical, financial, and executive sponsors). • Proactively communicate progress, scope changes, and risks to build client confidence through reliable, outcome-focused engagement. • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and BPMN-aligned As-Is/To-Be process models. • Collaborate with engineering teams to define data requirements, source systems, and transformation logic. • Curate the squad’s knowledge base, playbooks, and reusable artifacts to ensure consistent delivery standards. • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct ad-hoc functional testing to ensure features meet requirements and reduce late-cycle rework. • Actively participate in and facilitate core Agile scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) while continuously improving the squad's operating cadence. • Manage defect resolution, consolidate stakeholder feedback, and secure final client sign-off. • Collaborate with the Product Owner to track KPIs, measure delivery against business outcomes, and frame sprint reviews around tangible value delivered. • Operate with high autonomy to navigate scope challenges, proposing constructive solutions rather than simply escalating problems. • Mentor junior BAs and actively contribute to the broader BA practice by improving standards, templates, and ways of working.
