Role Description Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a Paralegal II (NIV) to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. EIG offers a competitive salary, excellent employee benefits, and ample opportunity for professional growth. - With a high-volume caseload, prepare and file petitions and applications for employment-based non-immigrant visas (NIVs), including (but not limited to) H-1B, TN, E-3, L1, O-1, and associated dependent filings. - Compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation. - Reviews documentation to determine facts and information necessary for preparation and strategy of immigration filings. - Maintains direct contact and communication with multiple Attorneys, Foreign National clients, and in-house Global Mobility Managers. - Reports to Attorney and will receive assignments from Case Managers and firm leaders. - Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications - 3+ years of professional working experience as a paralegal preparing employment-based non-immigrant visas. - NIV writing experience preferred. - Strong organizational & time management skills and ability to prioritize. - Ability to generate work product with considerable accuracy and attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. - Works independently toward team goals. - Outstanding case/project management skills. - Effective communication skills (written and verbal) including actively listening. - Works well in a team environment. - Strong team focus that assists to foster a sense of community within the firm. - Multi-tasking and fulfills daily responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment. - Accepts and adapts to feedback regarding work performance. - Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms. - Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams. - Proficient in immigration case management systems - VisaTrax, INSZoom, LawLogix and other document management systems. This position will provide ongoing support to a team of three attorneys handling a mix of litigation and transactional matters. Immediate priorities include assistance with active litigation files and support related to an internal client investigation. - Assist attorneys with litigation and transactional matters - Support document management, drafting, and case organization - Coordinate scheduling and calendar management - Assist with backend workflows and matter organization - Help manage deadlines and attorney time management - Draft, revise, and organize legal documents and correspondence - Maintain confidential client and matter information Qualifications - Prior law firm paralegal experience required - Litigation experience strongly preferred - Experience supporting multiple attorneys preferred - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities - Experience with transactional or corporate matters is a plus Requirements - Approximately 20 hours per week - Remote 1099 contract position through Molt Legal Partners, LLC - Tennessee-based work with some Delaware-related matters - Opportunity to build an ongoing working relationship with our team and client firms - Compensation: $30/hour
