Role Description As a Senior Project Manager for large-scale battery storage projects and solar (m/f/d), you will be responsible for leading projects to successful completion. In your role you will establish close, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the region, initiate development planning procedures with local authorities and bring projects to RTB. You will be actively supported by colleagues from project development and our experts in grid, planning, legal, GIS and many other specialist departments. You will work either remotely in your region or at our office in Berlin. Responsibilities of the Role - Leading and coordinating a project development team - Site identification and acquisition, stakeholder management, leading the development planning and building permit procedures, through to RTB - Managing and optimising project budgets, objectives, timelines and outcomes for development projects - Close collaboration with local stakeholders, such as municipalities, authorities, agricultural cooperatives and landowners - Management of external consultants and third-party service providers - Market analysis in the field of renewable energy and identification of M&A opportunities for solar and battery storage projects Qualifications - Several years of experience in project development for ground-mounted solar, large-scale battery storage, or wind projects in Germany - Experience in using project management tools and financial models - Extensive knowledge of the German renewable energy market and a strong network Requirements - You are determined and driven - You work persistently to achieve our goals - You are highly organized and have a strong drive to succeed - You establish and maintain strong networks within and outside the company - You can handle challenging situations during high-pressure project phases - You have strong excellent negotiation skills set - You are a solution-oriented person with an analytical approach - You can fluently communicate in German and also in English Benefits - Competitive salary - Annual bonus - Retention bank - Health insurance - Pension and other local benefits
