Role Description We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our development and operational processes. You will drive automation, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. A strong foundation in scripting, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and networking fundamentals will enable you to build resilient and scalable infrastructure while ensuring seamless application delivery and support. Responsibilities - Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) - Design, provision, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Bicep/Terraform — modular, parameterized, environment-aware - Manage AKS clusters: node pools, upgrades, RBAC, network policies, CNI (Azure CNI / Overlay), ingress (NGINX/AppGW), HPA, pod security standards - CI/CD & Automation - Author and maintain multi-stage Azure Pipelines (YAML) with reusable templates, variable groups, environments, and approval gates - Write PowerShell automation for provisioning, release rollout, and environment management (non-negotiable) - Security & Compliance - Triage and remediate CVEs; track and close VAPT findings within agreed SLAs - Apply pod security standards, network policies, and least-privilege RBAC across Kubernetes namespace - Observability & Reliability - Build and maintain KQL-based alerts, dashboards, and workbooks in Log Analytics - Manage Prometheus + Grafana stacks for Kubernetes workload observability - Docker & Container Management - Author optimized multi-stage Dockerfiles; enforce image size and vulnerability standards - Manage image lifecycle in ACR (tagging strategy, retention policies, geo-replication) Nice to Have - MLOps experience: vLLM deployment on Azure ML, LoRA adapter management, LiteLLM proxy configuration - Familiarity with AI/ML model gateway patterns (OpenAI - compatible APIs, model routing) Qualifications - Graduate/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while working both independently and within a team Requirements - 4+ years of experience in DevOps - Azure — AKS, Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards), Key Vault, ACR, Monitor, Log Analytics, App Configuration - Kubernetes — workload deployment, RBAC, network policies, ingress, HPA, pod security, troubleshooting - Docker — multi-stage builds, image optimization, registry management - Bicep / Terraform — authoring modular, parameterized IaC; ARM comprehension at minimum - Azure Pipelines — multi-stage YAML, templates, variable groups, environments, approval gates - PowerShell — release automation, provisioning scripts (non-negotiable); Bash for Linux containers - Security (critical) — container image scanning (Trivy/Veracode/Defender), CVE triage and remediation, VAPT awareness - Secrets management — Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity - Observability — KQL, Log Analytics alerts, Prometheus + Grafana, Application Insights - Networking — VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, AKS CNI models, TLS/cert-manager - Agile/ADO — sprint ceremonies, Boards, runbook authoring - Nice to have — MLOps (vLLM, Azure ML) Benefits - Energy Exemplar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. • Implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response using DataDog and other tools. • Designing, building, and maintaining cost-effective, reliable, and scalable AWS infrastructure. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks and reliability issues. • Conducting post-incident reviews to analyse root causes and implement preventive measures. • Automating routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Participating in an on-call rotation to respond to system outages and emergencies.

• Design, build, and own CI/CD pipelines for all new products and greenfield builds • Define pipeline standards that support parallel release streams and implement merge-blocking gates that prevent new high-severity security findings from reaching production • Design deployments for forward progression: feature flags, canary releases, and automated validation gates that make every release safe to ship without relying on rollback • Manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or equivalent • Automate vulnerability detection and remediation workflows at the pipeline level • Generate and maintain SBOMs for all containerized workloads • Maintain continuous audit evidence trails across all products • Enforce secrets management, access controls, and HIPAA-compliant infrastructure configurations • Architect and maintain the infrastructure that supports AI-assisted development • Build and maintain the full observability stack

• Own the full lifecycle of our Azure production environment and provide expert support to our development teams. • Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable infrastructure using Bicep for IaC. • Manage complex services like AKS, APIM, and Event Hubs. • Ensure operational excellence, high availability, and seamless CI/CD integration for fast and safe application delivery. • Implement and manage Azure API Management (APIM), Azure App Gateway, and Azure Front Door. • Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Support and manage Azure Event Hubs for real-time data streaming. • Own the reliability of the Azure environment by monitoring health via Azure Monitor and Application Insights. • Enforce Azure Security services, including Entra ID RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
