• Own the full lifecycle of our Azure production environment and provide expert support to our development teams. • Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable infrastructure using Bicep for IaC. • Manage complex services like AKS, APIM, and Event Hubs. • Ensure operational excellence, high availability, and seamless CI/CD integration for fast and safe application delivery. • Implement and manage Azure API Management (APIM), Azure App Gateway, and Azure Front Door. • Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Support and manage Azure Event Hubs for real-time data streaming. • Own the reliability of the Azure environment by monitoring health via Azure Monitor and Application Insights. • Enforce Azure Security services, including Entra ID RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Deep knowledge of VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Storage (Blob/Files).
- Proven ability to build modular, reusable Infrastructure as Code patterns with Bicep.
- Practical experience managing Azure APIM, Azure App Gateway, and Azure Event Hubs (Kafka).
- Experience running AKS in production, including node pool optimization and pod autoscaling.
- Strong experience with Azure Security Center, vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST), and container registry security (ACR).
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python for creating operational tools and self-service platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a desire to learn and teach.
- Excellent understanding of development processes and agile methodologies.
- Analytic, flexible, adaptative, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) or AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Experience with GitOps (Flux/ArgoCD) and Kubernetes service meshes (Istio).
- Knowledge of FinOps for cloud cost management and resource optimization.
