• Identify, assess, and prioritise mining projects using technical, economic, and ESG frameworks • Conduct market analysis on relevant supply chains and EU-specific trends • Evaluate commercial and geopolitical factors influencing mining project development • Engage with stakeholders across industry, government, and research organisations • Support investment decisions through data analysis and valuation assessments • Populate, maintain and utilise mining project databases • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance EIT RawMaterials initiatives • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders • Travel as required to support project development and stakeholder engagement
Job Requirements
- Tertiary education in geosciences or engineering (e.g., geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, metallurgy, process engineering, mining engineering)
- Relevant work experience applying technical knowledge in the metals & mining sector
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing, and value chains within the EU
- Familiarity with commercial and geopolitical drivers impacting metals & mining projects
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to travel and work across teams
