Role Description You are the product component of a cross-disciplinary product team, and will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to collectively evolve your product through the entire product development lifecycle. You bring business, strategy, and communication expertise to the collaboration between your product team, customers, and stakeholders to steer the prioritization of product investments. Using the principles of lean, agile, and user-centered design, you lead and execute the regular activities of a product team to deliver outcomes for users and drive value for the enterprise. What You’ll Do - Accelerate value delivery and shape team outcomes by bringing insights from a broad set of experiences. - Collaborate with your group leader to deliver on portfolio-level strategies that enhance user outcomes and drive business value. - Drive the strategy creation for your product's problem space with ownership of multiple products/systems, and engage stakeholders to identify opportunities. - Conduct continuous research to identify valuable problems, define outcomes in new or complex spaces, facilitate ideation sessions to prioritize solutions, coordinate delivery across teams, and support change management. - Deliver user value in ambiguous areas with overlapping problems, applying principled techniques to define users, problems, and solutions. - Create backlog stories and product documentation, prioritize work, and coordinate feature releases to promote rapid ideation to delivery cycles. - Measure impacts, solicit feedback, and make data-informed decisions to pivot or persevere, improving your product. - Identify functionality that no longer provides value, and safely deprecate or modernize it in line with the product vision. - Provide thought leadership and mentorship for other Product Managers while pursuing self-education to evolve Product practices. - Additional tasks may be assigned. Qualifications - Mastery of the software development lifecycle and experience delivering a variety of software products to market. - Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and use data to drive decision-making across a suite of products and services. - Strong problem-solving skills to identify systems level issues, analyze potential solutions, and partner across domains to implement the best course of action. - Ability to convey complex or ambiguous ideas, strategies, and outcomes clearly and concisely to executive level stakeholders. - Ability to enter an ambiguous domain space, rapidly learn new skills and concepts, and reorient priorities in a dynamic work environment. Requirements - 7+ years of experience in product management working on cross-disciplinary product teams. - Advanced training or equivalent practical experience in Product Management, Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related fields. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Essential Functions - Ability to perform the accountabilities listed in the “What You’ll Do” Section. - Ability to comply with dress code requirements. - Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation. - Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company. - Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. - Ability to give direction and to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel. - Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others. - Ability to maintain composure and work in a fast-paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes. - Ability to satisfactorily complete company training programs. - Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating, preparing reports, etc. - Ability to plan, prioritize and monitor activities across business units. - Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner.
