Building Automation Systems Project Manager

Role Description The BAS / Controls Project Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of the project. This person will work as part of the project team and interact closely with the owner, designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other trades on projects in commercial and mission-critical environments. The role may assist with the permitting process, evaluating bid proposals, developing construction master plans and schedules, performing site inspections, facilitating communication, and ensuring compliance with owner’s requirements, applicable laws, and specifications. The BAS / Controls Project Manager will receive limited direction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. Will assist project leadership on projects of routine scope. Will work independently or under limited supervision. The BAS / Controls Project Manager will communicate and operate in line with organizational and client goals and values, as well as departmental objectives. • The District Services Manager (DSM) plays a pivotal role in driving Services sales growth • Cultivating and sustaining a strategic partnership between Service Providers and the Home Services organization • Oversee the entire lifecycle of Service Providers, including sourcing, onboarding, expansion, contraction, and termination • Ensure alignment with business goals, service standards, and compliance expectations • Research and review customer feedback to identify opportunities • Schedule, prepare, and conduct Partnership Reviews and regular check-ins with Service Providers • Support store teams in managing Service Provider relationships and escalations • Facilitate ongoing training and development for Service Providers • Execute comprehensive field oversight through regular job site and install inspections.
• Driving Execution - Drive execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs. • Review Front End Accuracy standards to include Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives and G.E.T initiatives. • Ensure stores are driving a safety culture by promoting safety initiatives. • Ensure post orders are followed and understood by 3rd Party Guards. • In partnership with DHRM, DM, de-escalation of serious incidents and threats of violence. • Teach, coach, and train store leadership and associates on theft/fraud, operational shrink and shrink mitigation initiatives. • Build Relations and engage and walk with Government Relations and Law Enforcement for localized support. • Walk and ensure safety of parking lots along with in safety strategies and processes. • Perform timely entry of internal cases into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy; to include activity cans, review alerts, and physical security. • Review available resources to identify key theft trends by class and SKU for internal and external theft and create solutions. • Conduct timely interviews for internal theft cases identified by MAPM or Central Investigations Team (CIT). • Timely review, approve, or reject external cases submitted by the Asset Protection Specialists. • Build partnerships with local law enforcement in order to strengthen THD's brand. • Daily, weekly and monthly review of business practices, exception base reporting, theft portal and AP Performance Hub. • Review and analyze shrink performance within the district and by store location. • Monitor shrink indicators and drive execution of initiatives. • Make hiring decisions and take disciplinary action including termination (leveraging HR resources). • Staff and schedule AP associates to meet the needs of the business utilizing theft trends and store tips. • Conduct performance reviews, utilize performance management to address performance opportunities, and attend RAPM and district talent review. • Coach and train associates on proper safety behaviors and environmental/regulatory processes to include execution of Handling Hazardous Materials (HHM) program and Store Readiness Checklist (SRC) process.
