• Simplify complexity: Break down intricate workflows and technical concepts into intuitive, user-friendly solutions. • Ensure that complexity is handled behind the scenes, allowing users to efficiently achieve their goals with minimal friction. • UX Design: Utilize usability best practices and design patterns to create user flows and wireframes based on user stories and research insights in close collaboration with product management, development, and our users. • Visual Design: Balance aesthetics with functionality to create clean, user-centered interfaces. Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the product. • Work close with our users: Gather feedback and insights from our users via surveys, interviews, usability tests, and casual conversations to gather deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Translate findings into actionable recommendations. • Collaboration: Work closely with product teams and the UX team to ensure that user research findings are integrated into the design process, driving data-informed decisions that enhance the user experience.
Job Requirements
- You have a Bachelor's degree in a field related to UX, HCI or media communications OR a certification such as CPUX-F OR equivalent experience
- You have demonstrated experience of at least 4 years in UX or product design, ideally in a data heavy B2B software sector
- You are passionate about delivering great user experiences
- You are a detail-oriented person with a hands-on mentality
- You are eager to dive into complex problems in complex environments
- You can confidently lead user interviews and usability tests in German and English
- You know how to utilize design and whiteboarding tools, such as Figma, Balsamiq, and Figjam
- You embrace AI tools to speed up your work without compromising on quality
- You are excited to engage yourself in highly technical software domain and translate complex functionality into intuitive experiences
- You are comfortable working in a Linux environment
- You have experience contributing to and evolving design systems
- Nice to have: You have worked in a SCRUM environment with Jira
- Nice to have: You have worked with Limesurvey or similar online survey tools.

Role Description The UX Designer will be responsible for providing intuitive and frictionless experiences across FourLeaf's digital products. The UX Designer works alongside Product Owners and developers to understand product goals and implement solutions to achieve them. They will use data to understand user journeys and apply best practices to improve experience and conversion where possible. This opportunity is open to flexible work options including a remote set up. Core Contributions - Lead the creation and refinement of design concepts, mockups, and prototypes for digital products and experiences. - Ensure that high-fidelity concept and design files are delivered to development teams. - Provide strategic input regarding the direction and production of visual experiences. - Responsible for seeing that enhancements are carried through. - Define journey goals and measure their output. - Own analysis of journey performance and driving recommendations. - Use best practices to evolve product design according to business needs. - Test and validate iterative design solutions. - Utilize analytics and heatmapping tools to understand user behavior and identify gaps in user journeys. - Problem-solve user experience issues while balancing technical constraints. - Develop content hierarchies and structured models to deliver consistency across digital experiences. - Act as a UX partner to cross-functional teams to deliver the best possible user and brand experience. - Attend and participate in meetings with outside business units.
