Title: Coord Quality Coding Outpatient Coordinator Quality Coding Outpatient Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is 100% remote. Eligible out-of-state candidates may be considered. Summary: Ensures coding data integrity by reviewing diagnosis and procedure code assignments and validating MS-DRG, APC, or RVU designations. Responsibilities: Conducts internal quality reviews, in accordance with the Coding Compliance Plan. Reviews government, commercial and other external audits. Performs internal audits as requested by other departments. Monitors and reports issues/trends. Presents coding education to staff, leadership and others throughout the Health System. Provides training as necessary. Assists with developing and guiding SMEs responsibilities. Responds to coding questions submitted throughout the Health System. Reviews physician queries for appropriateness, and related correspondence. Reviews coded claims data in response to denials and customer service requests. Provides thorough rationale and explanation for proper code assignments. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: - High School diploma GED. - Required Licensure/Certification: Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC. - 3 years of relevant experience. Employees are our number one asset. • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for both web interfaces and backend, proactively challenging architectural assumptions to prevent issues before they reach production. • Act as a System Investigator - performing deep-dive analysis of complex multi-channel message flows using platform logs, webhook payloads, and event traces to identify root causes of delivery and logic defects across SMS, Telegram, Viber, and other channels. • Design and execute advanced end-to-end test strategies that cover the full message lifecycle - from operator action in the web UI, through API and channel gateway, to delivery confirmation - ensuring what the client experiences matches expected behavior. • Contribute to performance testing efforts using Locust and other tooling, covering throughput of message delivery, API response times under load, and system resilience under concurrent channel activity. • Drive quality improvements within an Agile environment, participating in architectural reviews and brainstorming sessions to advocate for testability, observability, and system stability. • Support the existing Playwright-based automation efforts, collaborating with automation engineers to improve coverage for critical UI flows and helping ensure automated quality checks are reliable within the CI/CD pipeline. • Maintain technical documentation and RCA reports, ensuring that complex, hard-to-reproduce bugs are well-documented and that the team learns from every critical defect.
