Customer Facing Project Manager
Agilent Technologies
• Support the sales process by contributing to solution design and development for customer projects • Manage and help execute large, multi-functional, and multi-vendor service projects, including: • Laboratory relocations • Asset management programs • Facility inventories • Other CrossLab service solutions • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements • Coordinate with customers to define project requirements and implement tailored solutions • Support pricing and proposal development for customized project work • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors • Lead meetings, track progress, and maintain clear and accurate project documentation • Actively participate in on-site project delivery activities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least:
- 5+ years of customer-facing field project management
- Experience applying project management methodologies (formal training or equivalent experience)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working directly with external customers
- Experience using data tools or reporting systems to analyze and present information
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% or more, depending on project needs
