Government Relations Coordinator

Government Relations Coordinator VGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play games. We have an exciting opportunity within our Government Relations team. We are currently looking for a Government Relations Coordinator to join the team on a remote basis. The Government Relations Coordinator provides critical administrative, coordination and operational support to the Government Relations function. The role enables the team to operate effectively across multiple jurisdictions by ensuring accurate tracking of regulatory matters, efficient stakeholder coordination, disciplined documentation and strong operational rhythm. This role is pivotal in supporting lobbying activities, regulatory engagement, policy monitoring and internal alignment in a fast-moving environment. Key responsibilities will include: Provide day-to-day operational support primarily to the VP of Government Relations and broader Government Relations team, as needed. Manage calendars, scheduling, travel coordination and meeting logistics for meetings with policymakers, lobbyists and other relevant external parties Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, track actions, and follow up on outcomes from Government Relations related meetings. Act as a central coordination point between internal stakeholders and external partners (lobbyists, advisors, associations) Support onboarding and ongoing administration of lobbyists across jurisdictions including contracts, compliance documentation, and reporting schedules. Track meetings, touch points and engagement cadence with government stakeholders and advisors. Support monitoring of relevant policy, legislative and regulatory developments, escalating key updates to the VP of Government Relations and Government Relations team. Prepare recurring Government Relations reports and dashboards (e.g activity trackers, engagement summaries, risk registers). Support internal governance processes, including briefing packs for ExCo updates, where required. What you will bring to the role: Experience in government, public policy, legal, compliance, corporate affairs, or regulated industries is highly desirable. Tertiary qualifications in public policy, political science, law, communications, business administration, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience supporting public policy, government relations, legal, compliance, or regulatory functions is desirable.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving or regulated environments, and handling sensitive information.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides and Excel).
  • Experience maintaining trackers, registers, and reporting dashboards.
