That's why we've developed technology that enables mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay, etc.) and secure, tokenized remote commerce payments. We call the set of services delivering this "MDES". We've experienced incredible success and growth, with 10s of billions of transactions being processed each year, however now we are focusing on ensuring the success continues as we scale MDES even further. Our focus is on the best possible customer experience. We're making our services faster, more reliable and more scalable whilst meeting emerging on-soil regulation and increasing demand across the globe. Right now, our applications are deployed into our on-premises infrastructure, but to meet these challenging goals we need them to be deployable into the public cloud. That's where you come in. We are searching for new team members with first-hand experience of developing and deploying secure, performant, reliable, resilient, distributed applications both in private and public cloud platforms. • Participate in the design and evolution of a strategic application dedicated to price optimization. • Develop mobile applications in React Native (navigation, state management, native bridges). • Design and develop fullstack applications with Java/Spring Boot (back-end focused) and Angular, applying Clean Architecture and SOLID principles. • Architect microservices and event-driven solutions, with a strong focus on performance and maintainability. • Manage databases (relational and document-oriented) and optimize queries for large-scale processing. • Industrialize DevOps practices: CI/CD, test coverage (Sonar), and integration of craftsmanship best practices. • Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements and propose appropriate solutions while meeting deadlines and quality standards. • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools, adopting an agile approach (Scrum).

• Develop and maintain core backend services across Identity & Auth, Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Catalog, and Notifications • Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards: branching strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and testing coverage (xUnit, BDD/Reqnroll) • Collaborate with Tech Lead and cross-functional teams to align on API contracts and integration points • Navigate brownfield complexity — work with legacy systems, support migration planning, and ensure backward compatibility • Participate in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and technical design sessions • Contribute to observability and reliability improvements across Dev, QA, Integration, Staging, and Production (AWS-hosted)

• Own database reliability outcomes: availability, performance, recoverability • Design and operationalize data-loss recovery procedures (restore workflows, validation, execution plans) • Lead DB fleet lifecycle management (versions, patching, sizing, standards) • Improve alerting, observability, incident response, and RCA • Implement secure-by-default DB patterns (least privilege, encryption, auditability) • Build self-service database capabilities to reduce support burden • Pair daily with internal DBAs to model DBRE practices (observational learning)
