• Developing high quality training material as directed by the customer’s Training Needs Analysis, to meet the overarching requirements needed for instant frontline impact. • Training, coaching and mentoring current serving Belgian Défense personnel to become fully competent and capable Aircrew, who can transition directly to frontline ISR operations. • Operating as part of a joint Trials and Training Team to ensure Belgian Défense personnel plan and execute an effective ITEAP and generate the requisite reports in collaboration with Belgian Défense counterparts. • Providing clear and considered operational advice to the customer on integrating platform capabilities, mission requirements, human factors considerations and feedback to the OEM as required. • Executing training as either an instructor or as exercise support, to ensure the trainees receive the most value from their training experience.
Job Requirements
- Significant demonstrable operational ISR experience as a sensor operator on manned or unmanned platforms.
- Typically, five plus years’ experience, with additional experience advantageous.
- Security Clearance of SC minimum.
- Significant experience of operational ISR on a manned or unmanned platform as a sensor operator.
- Ability to hold a flying category and fitness for flying related duties.
- Aircrew Instructor qualified (B1 minimum) with experience in the ISR environment (highly desirable).
- Experience in interpreting the outputs of a Training Needs Analysis and generating training content from them (highly desirable).
- Operational Test and Evaluation experience, with the Aircrew Evaluator Course qualification considered an advantage (highly desirable).
- Central Flying School experience also highly desirable.
- Familiarity with computer and simulation related hardware equipment (highly desirable).
- Unit Flying Standards experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with the ‘4Ts’ planning process (highly desirable).
- Must hold a valid UK passport with an expiry date a minimum of 12 months in the future prior to any contract being awarded.
