Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least two (2) years of experience in handling patient health information and/or medical records preferred
  • At least six (6) months of supervisory/management/leadership experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, legal aspects of health information
  • Strong supervisory/management, critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) such as Cerner, Meditech, Epic, PICIS
