KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — - Review, redline, prosecute, sign, and file AI/software patent applications generated through the Patent Engine workflow. - File provisionals, non-provisionals, PCT applications, and continuations through USPTO Patent Center. - Respond to office actions involving §101, §102/§103, and §112 issues. - Conduct examiner interviews when strategically beneficial. - Operate as the primary human reviewer for AI-drafted applications, identifying weaknesses, inconsistencies, and prosecution risks. - Collaborate directly with software and AI inventor teams to transform technical disclosures into prosecutable claims. - Feed prosecution learnings and redline patterns back into the Patent Engine for recursive drafting improvement. - Maintain rapid turnaround expectations for standard and priority filings. Qualifications - Active USPTO Patent Bar registration in good standing. - Minimum 4 years of patent prosecution experience post-registration. - Minimum 50 patent applications drafted, prosecuted, or substantively responded to in software, AI/ML, or computer-architecture domains. - BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline. - Demonstrated success drafting and prosecuting around Alice / §101 challenges. - Ability to independently sign and prosecute filings without attorney supervision. - Comfort operating in AI-augmented drafting environments. - Ability to work in a fast-moving in-house production model.
