Role Description We are partnering with an innovative AI-enabled learning and digital transformation business seeking a highly practical AI Learning Platform & Systems Lead to support the technical delivery, scalability, reliability, and optimisation of modern AI-enabled learning environments and platform ecosystems. This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on technical capability who enjoys working across learning systems, AI-enabled workflows, operational tooling, integrations, and platform performance within fast-moving product and enablement environments. This is not a purely enterprise infrastructure or back-end engineering role. Initially, this engagement will begin on a freelance / contract basis, with the potential to evolve into a longer-term opportunity as the wider programme grows. You will support the technical operation and optimisation of AI-enabled learning platforms, systems, environments, and workflows across a growing learning and enablement ecosystem. The successful candidate will be highly practical, technically credible, and comfortable operating across platform operations, cloud environments, integrations, automations, technical workflows, learner systems, and operational scalability. You will work closely with product, learning, operations, and technical stakeholders to help ensure AI-enabled learning environments are stable, scalable, commercially practical, and operationally effective. Key Responsibilities - Support the scalability, reliability, and operational performance of AI-enabled learning platforms and systems - Help design and optimise technical environments that support AI learning experiences, labs, workflows, and enablement programmes - Support integrations, automations, and operational workflows across learning and delivery ecosystems - Collaborate with product, operations, instructional, and technical teams to define platform and systems requirements - Contribute to platform optimisation, automation, and operational improvements - Support technical troubleshooting, issue resolution, and workflow problem-solving - Evaluate technical risks, dependencies, and scalability considerations across learning systems and environments - Help establish practical operational best practices for platform management and resilience - Support scalable learner experiences through effective systems design and operational workflows - Contribute to experimentation and continuous improvement across AI-enabled learning environments - Support technical documentation, implementation planning, and operational enablement where required Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience supporting modern cloud-based platforms, systems, or technical environments - Experience working with integrations, workflows, automations, or operational platform tooling - Exposure to AI-enabled products, systems, workflows, or learning environments - Strong understanding of platform reliability, scalability, integrations, and operational resilience - Experience supporting complex technical ecosystems or delivery environments - Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving technical environments - Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capability - Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - Ability to bridge technical and operational conversations effectively Requirements - Experience supporting AI-enabled learning, enablement, knowledge, or digital learning platforms - Exposure to workflow automation, platform optimisation, DevOps, or operational tooling initiatives - Experience working alongside learning, instructional design, or enablement teams - Familiarity with learner environments, technical labs, or workflow-driven learning experiences - Consulting, freelance, or transformation programme experience - Experience evaluating scalable operational approaches to AI adoption and enablement Benefits - Flexible remote working environment - Opportunity to grow into greater project ownership - Exposure to multiple projects and delivery teams - Collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong development potential Company Description FYXER recognises the benefits of a diverse workforce and strives to be an inclusive organisation. Define best practices, necessary documentation, and technical guardrails.
