Social Discovery Group
• Own the budget, forecasting, and financial planning process for assigned business units • Build and maintain financial models for commercial decisions, investment cases, and scenario planning • Act as the primary finance partner for Marketing, Product, Growth, and Commercial teams • Conduct monthly performance reviews with variance analysis and actionable recommendations • Evaluate the ROI of campaigns, product investments, and strategic initiatives • Identify financial risks and opportunities before they appear in the reporting • Present financial findings to leadership in a clear, decision-ready format
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a financial business partnering role
- A proven track record of working alongside non-finance teams and genuinely influencing decisions — not just supporting them
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience independently owning a budget or forecast end-to-end
- Ability to explain complex financial topics in plain language for non-finance audiences
- Confidence when presenting to senior management and C-suite
- Commercial curiosity — you follow the business, not just the numbers
- Experience in an online, digital, SaaS, e-commerce, or marketplace environment
- Familiarity with digital metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, MRR, churn
- Experience with BI tools: Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Superset
- Basic knowledge of Python or other data tools
