Technical Project Manager – Infrastructure and Capacity
Vultr
• Own SKU-level capacity management, ensuring targets are met and shortages are proactively avoided • Monitor infrastructure utilization, demand trends, and deployment progress across regions and data centers • Use data, dashboards, and reporting (e.g., Power BI) to forecast needs and trigger timely capacity deployments • Partner with engineering and business teams to align on forecasts and translate insights into actionable deployment plans • Orchestrate and track cross-functional workstreams using tools like Jira, ensuring visibility and accountability • Identify bottlenecks, minimize deployment delays, and continuously improve capacity deployment processes
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program management, infrastructure operations, or capacity planning
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, data centers, or hardware deployment environments
- Strong understanding of operational workflows (e.g., deployment, logistics, supply chain)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive execution
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft Power BI, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions on capacity and prioritization
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
