Junior Project Manager – AI-assisted
Monterail
• help build web and mobile applications from prototyping through delivery • coordinate a project team of Backend, Front-End or Mobile Developers, supported by QA Specialists and Designers • organize project workflows and facilitate regular meetings - stand-ups, sprint plannings, retros • act as a project advisor, balancing the client's roadmap and communication with our internal possibilities • set the project flow using different tools and methods • work with client budget sheets and gradually take ownership of project schedule and delivery (with senior support at first) • monitor risks and actively look for inefficiencies • challenge your team and client to balance product quality with work efficiency • work closely with a Tech Lead to tackle technological complexity and prioritise the backlog
Job Requirements
- 6–12 months of relevant experience - junior PM, associate PM, scrum master, product analyst, project coordinator, or a software developer in web/mobile or similar areas
- communication - proactive, friendly and assertive
- tech-savviness and hands-on use of Claude Code, Cursor or another AI coding tool
- english C1 (speak and write) - 99% of our teams and clients communicate in English
- active interest in AI tools - genuine interest and use. We will ask what you use and what you've automated.
- good understanding of how web and mobile products work - backend vs. front-end, what an API is, what makes software quality high or low
- critical thinking and ownership
- awareness of Agile and Scrum - you don't need a certification, but you should know why a daily exists and what a retro is for
