Role Description Como Especialista de Modelos, serás responsable de diseñar, implementar y monitorear modelos cuantitativos avanzados que permitan identificar, medir y gestionar los riesgos financieros, de crédito, operativos y de mercado en Tenpo. Tu rol será clave para asegurar que los modelos estén alineados con la normativa CMF y las políticas internas. Tu trabajo impactará directamente en la calidad de las decisiones estratégicas de riesgo y en la solidez del proceso de validación regulatoria del banco. Responsibilities - Desarrollo e implementación de modelos de riesgo: - Diseñar, construir e implementar modelos cuantitativos avanzados (crédito, mercado, operacional), integrando técnicas de machine learning y análisis predictivo con documentación completa para garantizar trazabilidad. - Monitoreo y validación de modelos: - Realizar el seguimiento continuo del desempeño de los modelos vigentes, identificando degradaciones, sesgos o incumplimientos respecto a los umbrales definidos, y ejecutando planes de acción correctivos. - Mejora metodológica continua: - Identificar oportunidades de mejora en los modelos existentes y proponer nuevas metodologías que consideren sus implicancias regulatorias y de mercado, liderando su implementación end-to-end. - Cumplimiento regulatorio: - Asegurar que los modelos cumplan con la normativa CMF y los estándares de Basilea (IRB, modelos internos), documentando supuestos, limitaciones y planes de acción derivados de seguimientos y evaluaciones. - Atención de auditorías e inspecciones: - Preparar y presentar la documentación técnica requerida por auditorías internas y organismos reguladores, respondiendo con precisión y oportunidad a sus requerimientos. - Colaboración con áreas de negocio y riesgo: - Trabajar con las áreas de Riesgo de Crédito, Data Science, Finanzas y Producto para asegurar que los modelos reflejen la realidad del portafolio y apoyen las decisiones estratégicas. - Documentación técnica y gobierno de modelos: - Mantener un repositorio actualizado de modelos, versiones, supuestos y resultados de validación, asegurando el cumplimiento del marco de gobierno de modelos de Tenpo. Qualifications - Profesional titulado/a de Ingeniería Matemática, Estadística, Ingeniería Civil Industrial, Ingeniería Comercial o carreras afines con fuerte componente cuantitativo. - Entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia en modelamiento de riesgo, Data Science aplicado a finanzas o validación de modelos en instituciones financieras. - Manejo avanzado de Python y/o R para modelamiento cuantitativo. - Experiencia en técnicas estadísticas aplicadas a riesgo, tales como regresión logística, árboles de decisión, modelos de supervivencia y modelos de scoring. - Dominio de SQL para extracción, transformación y validación de datos asociados a modelos. - Conocimiento de normativa CMF aplicable a modelos de riesgo y estándares regulatorios como Basilea II/III e IRB. - Experiencia en el ciclo completo de desarrollo de modelos: diseño, implementación, validación, monitoreo y retiro. - Experiencia desarrollando e implementando modelos de score crediticio o riesgo de mercado en ambientes productivos. - Experiencia monitoreando modelos y gestionando planes de acción ante degradaciones o desviaciones de desempeño. - Inglés intermedio-avanzado para lectura de papers técnicos, normativa internacional y documentación especializada. Requirements - Manejo de R para modelamiento estadístico. - Conocimiento de algoritmos avanzados como XGBoost, LightGBM o redes neuronales aplicadas a riesgo (no solo financiero). - Conocimiento de IFRS 9 y modelos de pérdida esperada. - Participación en procesos de validación de modelos ante organismos reguladores como CMF, (SBS regulador de Perú NA a Tenpo), procesos de auditorías o equivalentes. - Certificación FRM (Financial Risk Manager). - Diplomado en Riesgo Cuantitativo o Machine Learning aplicado a finanzas. - Certificaciones o cursos en normativa Basilea, IFRS 9, MLOps o gobierno de modelos. Role Description The Senior Underwriter provides mortality and financial risk assessment of individual insurance for life, critical illness, and disability product lines. The position works closely with captive advisors and brokers, assesses medical and non-medical information, providing support and issue resolution. The role also provides guidance to less experienced underwriters or other new business staff and participates in product, policy, and process improvements.
